Supporting Kurrung Sports Carnival!

On September 5th & 6Th, the 2025 Kurrung Sports Carnival lit up the NT in Jabiru. Hosted by West Arnhem Regional Council, the event brought together men’s and women’s teams from Jabiru, Minjilang, Maningrida, Warruwi and Gunbalanya, to showcase their talents in Basketball and AFL. Through Kurrung, the Council continues its commitment to strengthening communities across West Arnhem.

To help the Carnival thrive, WTD donated money towards the festival. This money would help WARC cover costs of team travels, equipment, workers and event planning. WTD love helping where needed especially for key events like these that brings communities together.
